Walking and cycling holidays in Spain are a great way to see the real Spain.
You will see so much more than you ever could in a car.
Although of course, with so much to see, you may wish to bring a car or use public transport
to get to those more distant attractions and then travel on foot or bicycle. It certainly makes
for a good eco holiday.
Finca Dumisani is ideal to use as your base. It is far enough inland to be away from
the packaged holiday scene, yet is close enough to so many places of interest which are worth

The roads in our local area are of a very high quality - far superior to those of the UK.
Although the roads are generally not lit except in built up areas, the roads generally
have less traffic than you will be used to.
The Catalonia countryside is riddled with ancient tracks
and old unused roads which in some cases have been designated as "vias - verdes" (green ways)
cycle tracks or foot paths. The
cycle track / foot path shown in our photos being one such example.
